Horizon Village was awarded a great honor by the National Council for Behavioral Health earlier this week in Washington, D.C.
Horizon’s CEO, Anne Constantino accepted an award for “Excellence in Addictions Treatment Innovation” supported by Phoenix House.
The award was given during a three day conference presented by the National Council. Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was the keynote speaker for the event.
Each year the National Council honors those who inspire the nation to fight against mental illness and addiction. Through its awards of Excellence, the National Council spotlights the innovative and inspirational efforts of those individuals and organizations that are changing the lives of children, adults, and families living with mental illnesses and addiction disorders. The prestigious National Council Awards of Excellence recognize behavioral health organizations for excellence in delivering treatment and support in the community to persons with mental illnesses and addiction disorders while also honoring passionate, committed and outstanding behavioral health leaders.
