Looking for mental health or substance use treatment today? Horizon offers open access hours at many of our locations across Erie, Niagara, and Genesee counties, five days a week. Our 1376 Boulevard location provides walk-in appointments for individuals ages 18 and older nearly all day, Monday through Friday, and several additional Horizon sites across Western New York also offer same-day access with varying hours to fit your schedule.
What Is Open Access?
Open access appointments provide the community with an opportunity to attend a first appointment for mental health and/or substance use concerns day-of rather than waiting for a scheduled appointment. During this appointment, our team assesses for immediate needs, symptoms, and goals to determine the best next steps.
Linking with Horizon through open access also provides patients with the opportunity to connect with other Horizon programs and services, including our Peer Advocate Program, Care Coordination, medication-assisted treatment, and more.
Horizon recognizes the importance of being able to access and receive help on your timeline. Our same-day services grant that control to the community – giving individuals the space and flexibility to decide when they are ready to connect to treatment.
When Are Same-Day Appointments Available?
