During this difficult time, support and treatment are still available and needed more than ever. It is Horizon’s goal to continue operations and support services as safely as possible, and we are grateful for the technology that allows us to do so. Due to the current safety measures and need for continual support and treatment, we have made sure that all outpatient programs are ready, trained and equipped with what they need to continue care through teleservices. Starting this week, all outpatient services will move to teleservices for the time being to keep our patients and team members safe.
What teleservices does Horizon currently offer?
- Horion Tele: Horizon tele offers easy to use technology that allows us to bring safe, secure and needed treatment directly into people’s homes. Offered through this platform are mental health and substance use counseling, as well as psychiatry services from the use of a phone, tablet, or computer. All you will need is an email address, internet access, smart device with a camera and somewhere comfortable and private to connect.
- Telephonic services: Telephonic services are done over the phone. While there is no visual interaction, a counselor is there to listen, help and take action. We offer both mental health and substance counseling.
Both options are private, confidential, secure and most insurances are accepted.
Not connected with Horizon? You are still able to receive support through these teleservices. We are welcoming new patients!
Horizon is most grateful for a dedicated workforce and innovative technologies that allow us to connect with our patients and community.
A sincere thank you to the Peter & Elizabeth Tower Foundation and the John R. Oishei Foundation for helping make teleservices at Horizon a reality. Without your generosity and support for our mission, this would not be possible.
If you are looking for support, please call our Admissions Team today at (716) 831-1800.
We will get through this, together.
