We recognize that professionals often face unique challenges in seeking psychotherapy services due to their roles, responsibilities and public identity. We appreciate that confidentiality is a particular concern, and we take special steps to ensure it. Our approach focuses on professionals’ unique needs and providing the tools necessary for their return to peak performance. Horizon professional services can help with:

  • Professional burnout,
  • Interpersonal and family difficulties,
  • Job stress and unsatisfactory work performance,
  • Self-confidence and self-improvement,
  • Strained relationships with loved ones, and
  • Over-reliance on unhealthy coping skills including substance use.

Professional leaders also often find that their management and executive level responsibilities have left them with a sense of isolation and disconnection from their colleagues. Learning and practicing healthy self-care through a coaching-style therapy helps stimulate productivity, a renewed interest in professional growth, and reconnection with business partners, employees, and clients.

First responders – including firefighters, police, paramedics, military and other emergency personnel – also face unique stressors. These stressors can result in symptoms of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress and substance abuse. Horizon’s professional psychotherapy services can provide a valuable and private outlet for first responders to manage their stress and maintain their ability and passion for the lifesaving work they do.

Family and couples sessions are often an integral part of the therapy process. Many family members seek additional help for their loved ones who are already in treatment. Sessions are scheduled as needed as part of our healing experience.

Providing Easy Treatment Access Via Communication Technology
