The Eileen Pencer Women’s Leadership Award recognizes an individual woman of achievement that has positively impacted the substance abuse field and who inspires and motivates other women through their personal, community and professional lives. This award was presented to Horizon’s Vice President of Residential and Medical Operations, Paige Prentice at the ASAP Annual Conference earlier this week.
The winner was chosen based upon her role and success as a leader, role model and mentor to other women, community volunteer, her commitment to advancing the field of recovery and her sensitivity to diversity in the field of addictions.
Pagie is currently developing WNY’s only residential treatment facility for Veterans. She is a tireless advocate at the local and state levels and has developed and expanded integrated primary and behavioral care, a cutting edge practice.
On behalf of everyone at Horizon, we’d like to extend our sincere congratulations to Paige for this honor and achievement. We are truly lucky to have someone as dedicated as Paige at Horizon.
