We are hosting a non-clinical position open house on Tuesday May 15th from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at our Delta Village location on the Horizon Village Campus (6302 Inducon Drive East, Sanborn, NY 14132).

Open Positions:
Treatment Assistants
Treatment Assistants are one of the first people that our new residents meet when they come to our campus and the last person they see before they leave. All staff, no matter what their position, clinical or administrative, bring equal value to our team. Treatment Assistants have an important role in our daily operations and play a huge part of the overall success of our residents and campus! They are part of a team that provides innovative, person-centered treatment designed to offer hope for individuals in recovery. This is a per diem position and full training will be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifying resident behavioral concerns and appropriately reporting to the clinical team.
- Completing rounds to ensure building and resident safety (inside & outside grounds).
- Handling all reception duties including answering the phones and managing guest and residents at the front door.
- Supervising urine toxes.
Education Required: Associates or better in Human Services.with 3-5 year’s experience working in this field along with an Associates.
Preferred: Bachelors or better in Human Services or related field.
Administrative Assistants
Horizon is looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistants for our administrative offices in Niagara and Erie County!
Under the supervision of the Office Manager, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to all staff by greeting/directing patients, collecting payment for services, scheduling appointments, answering/directing calls on a multi-line phone system, completing necessary typing, copying, and faxing, and maintaining clinical records in a fast paced office setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers telephone, takes messages and provides information/assistance as needed
- Opens and closes clinics following proper procedure
- Greets visitors to the office and directs them as appropriate
- Collects payment for services
Basic Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to relate to mentally ill or chemically dependent individuals and their families of diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as have the ability to interact with them in a positive, supportive, and cooperative manner.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education Required: Associates or better.
Preferred: Bachelors or better.
Food Service Assistants
Horizon Health Services is seeking full-time and part-time cooks to prepare meals for our newest residential facility, Aurora Village, in Sanborn, NY. This position would require direct contact with clients in this facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Production of food items for residents
- Prepping items for next day’s meals
- Appearance, quality and proper portioning of all menu items
