Horizon Health is expanding its facilities in Niagara Falls, responding to an increase in demand for mental health, addictions and home health services.
Plans call for relocating and expanding services in downtown Niagara Falls at 2400 Pine Ave. at the site formerly owned by Fichte Endl & Elmer Eye Care. (Ficte will be moving to another location on Porter Ave.)
For Horizon, the vacated space provided an opportunity to grow, said Anne Constantino, CEO. “The former Fichte location is perfect for us as it has access from public transportation, lots of parking and room for building expansion,” she said.
Plans call for relocating the existing clinics at 1750 Pine Ave. in the City Market; while a health home program now operating from temporary space at 1700 Pine Ave. will move to the vacated space at 1750 Pine. The move will increase space for both services and accommodate continued growth in the Niagara Falls, NY area.
