What are your main focuses of practice?
I mainly work with patients 18 years of age and older who are in need of psychiatric services.
What other areas of the medical field have you worked in prior to Horizon?
Before joining Horizon, I worked as a Registered Nurse in a neurosurgical ICU, in a pediatric ICU, and a step-down telemetry floor.
What’s your why? (What makes Horizon special to you? What motivates you to contribute your best every day?)
I want to take care of patients the way I’d want my family to be taken care of. Also, compared to previous roles I’ve held, the culture and focus on work-life balance at Horizon is a breath of fresh air.
What would you tell a patient or family member who may be hesitant to reach out for help? What would you want them to know about our services and treatment?
Horizon team members truly care about doing a great job and working together for their patients. Since joining Horizon, several of my patients have shared that they are very happy with the organization, how it is run, and the culture here.
