What is your “why” for working at Horizon?
I love the flexibility and support I have always had from each of my different supervisors and the diverse teams I’ve gotten to work with throughout the years. Also, I love knowing that what I do each day makes a difference for somebody.
What opportunities has Horizon provided you that has helped you grow in your career?
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to grow within Horizon, serving in a variety of roles, including Administrative Assistant, Practice Manager, Medical Operations Specialist and now Medical Operations Team Lead. Each role has allowed me to showcase my strengths as well as work on skills that I feel need improvement. I’ve been able to attend numerous training courses, meet new people, and actively learn from my team members.
How do you prioritize your wellbeing while also growing and developing in your career?
I continue to set boundaries for myself as far as what I am capable of and what is too much. I also prioritize seeking support from my supervisor when I need it.
What would you say to someone who might be interested in growing their career with Horizon?
