He joined the Horizon team in 2016 as a Psychiatrist with 20+ years of experience in the medical field, and now serves as one of Horizon’s Medical Directors. What are your main focuses of practice?
My main focuses of practice include psychiatry and motivational interviewing.
What other areas of the medical field have you worked in prior to Horizon?
I have over 20 years of experience through my medical school journey, including a PhD in neuroscience. I have had the opportunity to publish and present original research on the national stage.
What’s your why?
Horizon’s commitment to person-centered care and to one another is important to me. We have a great medical leadership team and an exceptional philosophy of care throughout the organization.
What would you tell a patient or family member who may be hesitant to reach out for help?
Don’t let negative treatment experiences you’ve had in the past discourage you. There really are some wonderful clinicians and providers out there.
