Horizon Health Services promotes Paige Prentice, MM, CASAC, RT-ADS, to the position of Vice President of Residential and Medical Operations

Buffalo, NY – Anne Constantino, President and CEO of Horizon Health Services, announces the promotion of Paige Prentice, MM, CASAC, RT-ADS, to the position of Vice President of Residential and Medical Operations.

In her new position and as a member of Horizon’s executive management team, Prentice is responsible for administration oversight of Horizon Village in Sanborn, NY, Horizon’s 50-bed intensive residential drug treatment program serving the eight counties of Western New York State. She is also responsible for the oversight management of Horizon’s three medical unit facilities; its psychiatry services; supportive housing program and the Road To Recovery program. Prentice is also actively involved in staff training and corporate marketing efforts.

“Paige’s experience at Horizon and her rapport with both staff and consumers made her the natural choice for this position,” says Constantino. “She has and will continue to play a key role in helping Horizon meet and exceed its goals.”

Prentice, who has been with Horizon Health Services since 1995, has been director of Horizon Village since 2004. She received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Brockport in Physiology but eventually went back to school to become certified in alcohol and drug rehabilitation counseling. She received her master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix and is a certified acupuncture detoxification specialist and a registered trainer for acupuncture detoxification services.

A member of the New York State Association of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Professionals, the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association and the WNY Public Policy Committee, Prentice also serves on the board of directors of the Niagara County Community College Behavioral Health Department and is the upstate co-chair for the Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Professionals’ Women and Children Committee. She is a resident of Grand Island.

Horizon Health Services is the largest and most comprehensive provider of fully-integrated mental health, behavioral health, chemical dependency, medical and vocational treatment and recovery services in Western New York. The not-for-profit organization operates outpatient clinics in Erie, Niagara and Genesee counties and a 50-bed residential facility in Sanborn, NY.
