Emergency Contact

An emergency is a situation in which you are seriously considering hurting yourself or someone else. It is also an emergency if you know someone who is about to hurt him or herself or someone else.

If you are a current Horizon consumer and are experiencing an emergency, call your counselor immediately. Tell the receptionist you have an emergency. If the counselor is unavailable, ask to speak to a supervisor. If the clinic is closed, the answering machine message will direct you to a 24-hour emergency telephone hotline.

It is not unusual for people facing severe loss or stress to think about hurting themselves or others. These thoughts almost always pass after a few hours or a few days. However, if you think you might act on these thoughts, it is essential that you seek help immediately.

If your problem is not an emergency, go to the Services Offered/Treatment Options page to select the type of service(s) you need and for appointment information.
